The house is suitable for a large family or several families or a large group that wants to spend time in the fresh air in nature in the highest populated village in Croatia. For the little ones in the house, there is an Xbox for entertainment if the adults get bored and they can have fun playing table football or darts. Begovo Razdolje is a village located in the Mrkopalj municipality, within the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County in Croatia. Here are some key details about it: At an elevation of 1,060 meters, it holds the distinction of being the highest settlement in Croatia. As of 2021, the village has a population of 36, primarily consisting of elderly residents. The villagers, traditionally engaged in forestry and hunting, have been increasingly shifting towards livestock farming and tourism in recent decades. It is situated on the western slopes of Bjelolasica in the Gorski Kotar region. The geographical position and preserved natural environment of Begovo Razdolje offer great potential for the development of tourism. The village is well-connected by road and has good infrastructure, making it easily accessible from major cities like Rijeka and Zagreb.
In nearby Mrkopalj only 5 km distance from the house there are ski slopes and a ski lift called Chelimbasha for those who love skiing or snow boarding. Beautiful beaches of the North Adriatic coast are less than an hour drive from the house. If you like to see a beautiful lake Bayer in Fuzine you will take a 15 minutes drive to get there. Plitvice Lakes National Park is cca 1 hour drive by car away.
